Registration for the seventh annual Interior Motives Design Awards - themed ‘Sustainable and Clever' - is now open. Hosted by our quarterly interior design publication Interior Motives, the competition challenges design students around the world to come up with innovative designs that offer clever solutions to the problems facing 21st century vehicle design. Students are asked to create a design that fulfils one of the following four briefs:

Fisker Automotive will start production of the Atlantic in late 2014 or 2015, according to a Reuters report. That's two years later than the planned production start of the midsized gasoline-electric sedan. “The Atlantic is really the volume car that begins to build growth,” Fisker CEO Tony Posawatz said during a conference call with investors and analysts.
The late Sergio Pininfarina will be honored in a three-month special exhibition at the Ferrari museum in Maranello, Italy, from 26 October. The ‘Grandi Ferrari di Sergio Pininfarina' – Sergio Pininfarina's great Ferraris – exhibition will feature his classic designs and current Pininfarina evolutions in three halls: Concept Cars, Motorsports and Grand Touring Cars.
